Hello, my name is Eric.

I am a professional Lighting Designer residing in the Ottawa area. Theatre has been a part of my life since the 7th grade, when I operated a follow spot for my school play. I've been hooked on theatre and lighting in particular ever since. In 2011 I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Lighting Design and Technology from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. I worked as a Lighting Designer and Electrician for six years in Chicago, IL before moving to Canada in 2017.

Bringing a professional attitude and work ethic to every project I work on, I pride myself on being dependable - as well as always performing to the best of my ability. I also know that my work does not stand alone. Theatre is a collabrative art. I always strive to ensure that my design fits the needs of the project and works well with all of the other design elements.
